Phi-Sat-2 is a 6U CubeSat mission by the European Space Agency to demonstrate the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology directly on-board for Earth observation purposes. AI Apps can be developed, easily installed, and operated on the spacecraft for tasks such as cloud detection, maritime vessel identification, and image compression.

OPS-SAT is a CubeSat mission by the European Space Agency (ESA) intended to demonstrate the improvements in mission control capabilities that will arise when satellites can fly more powerful on-board computers.
The satellite features an experimental computer that is ten times more powerful than any current ESA spacecraft.
